STOP OUT-OF-CONTROL GOVERNMENT SPENDING
Wasteful spending must stop. Bailouts must end. Old-time politicians view the taxpayer's checkbook as their own. We must protect taxpayers and limit the growth of government.

CREATE SOUTH CAROLINA JOBS, GROW OUR ECONOMY
As Governor, my father proved leadership can grow the economy. We should support business partnerships, promote the ports, and limit regulations and taxes that hurt small business and economic growth. As a successful small business owner and someone who has worked for Fortune 500 SC employers, I will put my experience to work creating jobs and growing our economy.

I have released a 10-point Jobs and Economic Growth Plan focusing on reducing taxes, improving the transportation infrastructure, and promoting conservative-based policies to allow the government to help, not hinder, job growth. Details here.

A critical part of the Plan is Opposing Government Mandates and Unfair Labor Laws. I will oppose unfair, unconstitutional labor laws. I will oppose unfunded mandates placed on individual states. I will support companies so that they might hire the most qualified people, and not fall victim to government-mandated quota requirements. KEEP OUR NATION AND NEIGHBORHOODS SAFE
While the President wants to close a terrorist prison, new threats are emerging. We need to combat these threats. Troop protection and veteran services are critical. Locally, we must protect our ports and keep our communities safe from crime.

I will fight to keep prisoners at Guantamamo Bay, secure our ports, and police our borders.

REPEAL OBAMACARE
Affordable, quality health care comes from enabling doctor-patient relationships, not big government-run programs. People should always be able to choose their own doctor. Insurance should be available regardless of pre-existing health conditions. Health care promises to our seniors must be fulfilled.

PROTECT THE LIFE OF THE UNBORN
I am 100% pro-life and will work to protect the life of the unborn.
