FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Wednesday, May 19, 2010

CHARLESTON, SC - Carroll Campbell today launched the first TV ad of his campaign.

The ad spells out the mistakes of the current liberal Congress and notes Campbell's experience in creating more than 500 jobs within the District.

It also points out that Campbell has offered a detailed 10-Point Jobs Plan and specific plans to cut government waste and limit taxes. Campbell's ad which can be viewed here follows a radio blitz that started last week. The radio ad can be heard here.

On Friday, Campbell will once again make a stop on his TOUGH JOBS tour to bring attention to his detailed 10-Point Jobs Plan which is available for download here: CAMPBELL 10-POINT JOBS AND ECONOMIC GROWTH PLAN.

Friday, Campbell will be installing hardwood flooring with the John Griffiths Hardwood Flooring company. MEDIA ARE INVITED TO THE JOB SITE at 425 Station 22, Sullivans Island, SC 29482 from NOON - 2:00 PM. Campbell will speak with the media and then begin work with the company.

Campbell has already scrubbed showers at the Myrtle Beach Atlantica Resort to highlight the District's tourism industry. He also served food and washed dishes at the Charleston Crab House as a nod to the restaurant and fishing industries.

Campbell's jobs plan uses an innovative approach to tax reduction to spur hiring, an approach he first announced in District speeches last year. It also focuses on improving the transportation infrastructure of the District and conservative based policies to allow the government to help, not hinder, job growth.
